Study Trust: Meet Nomathamsanqa Tilese

The Trust has R2.5 million to give in bursaries for 2023 which is managed by StudyTrust. Many students have taken on this opportunity to not only empower themselves but to also empower their communities by displaying that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. Nomathamsana graduated this year (2022) with a Diploma in Information Technology and is currently doing her BTech/ Advanced Diploma planning to study further for her Honours next year. What made her choose this field? This is her story..

“I love computers and I’m also curious about a lot of things and I find computers challenging and I also find challenges interesting because I get to have time to think and come up with new ideas and for my community I would like to teach people about the importance of technology and how it can help them and in life in general I am influenced by hard working people that don’t let any situation stand in the way of them reaching their dreams or goals so I am very grateful for the opportunity that Amandla Omoya gave me and I will work hard in achieving my dreams”
