Partnership Collaboration

During the 2022 community consultation forum of the Trust which took place on 10 October 2022, it was noted that the Philipstown town hall needed repairs, a facelift, fixing, and better accessibility for all people in the community. People were disabled from accessing the hall because it was not accessible by people who use wheelchairs. The ablution facility was also not functional. Most of the windows were broken, making the hall unpleasant to use, especially in bad weather conditions.

The Trust has committed to building a ramp at the main entrance of the hall, fixing the windows, and ensuring that the electricity and ablution facilities are restored. The Trust has also committed to repainting the facility, which has not been done for many years.
